What is Amazon Account Health Assurance?
Amazon Account Health Assurance is a relief for Amazon Seller whose account suddenly gets deactivated even though they had maintained a high amazon account health rating in the past. According to an announcement made by amazon staff on 16th November 2022, amazon has launched Account Health Assurance (AHA) to benefit amazon sellers whose has consistently maintained account health rating over 250 historically. Who is Eligible for Amazon Account Health Assurance?
- The account health rating score of the underlying amazon account shall be at least 250 for the last six months. However, a relaxation has been made in this rule. which states that if the account health rating has dropped under the 250 score but not more than 10 days in the preceding six months, the underlying amazon account would be eligible to take advantage of Amazon Account Health Assurance; and
- The underlying professional amazon seller shall have a valid emergency contact number with amazon so that they can contact them to assist in the resolution of the issue within the specified time.

With amazon Health Assurance, when you encounter an issue that could cause Amazon to deactivate your account, an amazon accounts health service specialist will proactively reach out to you and explain step-by-step what the issue is and how to address it. After the latest announcement from amazon, they will not suspend your selling account if they are able to contact the underlying seller and resolve the issues within 72 hours. This initiative from amazon is expected to enable the sellers to better comprehend the issue and resolve it before account deactivation. Even if the account gets deactivated, reinstating the suspended amazon account would not be as difficult as it was before because the conversation with the amazon account health specialist would enable the seller to better understand the issues and write effective appeals.
